I had doubts when I saw that the author had paired the sweetest of them all - “ sexy cowboy” Cort - to the worst villain in this series - Harlan. Reading about his past behavior towards Oren in the previous books, I definitely had my doubts on how redeemable Harlan really was... but I was not disappointed as I read about his harsh road to redemption.
