James—Uncontrollable by Felice Stevens My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book as my favorite one in the whole series, and I was kind of sad for it to end... The author introduced Malcom and James several books ago in the series so it was great seeing the evolution of both men... It was in many ways a slower burn romance, decades one the making... I won’t give any spoilers here but the story was quite unique and heartbreaking at the same tone, and I loved seeing how Malcom and James come together. Their chemistry was quite explosive :) Also, the dinner chapter at the end was the perfect ending for this series, it was funny and sweet and just lovely!! Another 5 stars read!!! Cort—Unbreakable by Felice Stevens My rating: 5 of 5 stars I loved this book! This was my favorite in the series(although I cant promise because they get better and better!) I had doubts when I saw that the author had paired the sweetest of them all - “ sexy cowboy” Cort - to the worst villain in this series - Harlan. Reading about his past behavior towards Oren in the previous books, I definitely had my doubts on how redeemable Harlan really was... but I was not disappointed as I read about his harsh road to redemption. This was a great book, and presented an amazing tale of redemption, love and second chances... definitely a must read from this author! Envy by Rachel Van Dyken My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book was everything I can wish a mafia story to be: it was intriguing, sad and full of some hard learned life lessons, but it also had funny moments, love, devotion and above all the inexorable protective instincts the mafia bosses have for their families. “The bosses always sat first. Always in a way to protect the innocents around them.” This book follows Vic - Nixon’s cousin - who has taken a very daunting oath, and Renee , the “nanny” for the five families’ kids. But of course not everything is at it seems with Renee... “A war began in that room. Between two hearts. Between a broken soul. And a lost one.” This author never disappoints- she delivered yet another amazing and unique book that had my gripping the edge of my kindle and forgoing another restful night. This might be one of my favorite books of the series-it just made the bosses so very human. I loved the little glimpses emotion and compassion from Chase, Nixon and

Eulogy by Rachel Van Dyken My rating: 5 of 5 stars Blood in. No out. It has taken me a while to write this review... This story was so fabulous that I don't think any review can do it justice... I do not want to give any spoilers on the story, but this is one of the best books (possibly the best one) in this series. Be warned though, it's probably the darkest yet... Chase just underwent a 180 transformation - morphing from this funny, optimistic, happy go lucky guy to this really really messed up guy and remorseless killing machine... His end goal is to completely wipe off a certain mafia family and nothing can stop him. He denigrates everybody, even his friends, and they are at a loss on how to stop him. This book is aptly named Eulogy because for a good portion of the book, I was really wondering how things were going to turn out. Chase is just devastated. He feels isolated and so so angry, so he lashes out at everybody - innocent or not, family or not... Lucianna, on
